Strip-out — removing the old suite, tiles, floor and any boxing, and taking everything away
Layout and first fix — repositioning hot and cold feeds, waste runs and soil connections; running new lighting, shaver and extractor circuits; fitting any new stud walls or openings
Preparation and tanking — boarding walls and floors, levelling the floor, and applying a waterproof tanking system to shower areas and wet rooms
Tiling — walls and floors, including large-format tiles, mosaics and feature panels
Second fix — installing the bath, shower enclosure or tray, basin, WC and brassware; connecting and testing every fitting; fitting lighting, mirrors and accessories
Finishing — silicone sealing, decorating, and a final clean before handover

Layout, Storage and Practical Design

Most bathrooms in Milton Keynes homes are not large, so the layout has to earn every centimetre. If you are sourcing your own, we will check the specification against the room before you place the order so that shower trays, enclosures and vanity units fit the space and the waste positions.

Working in Your Home

A full bathroom installation usually takes between one and two weeks, longer if walls are moving or a new en-suite is being created from scratch. Where a home has only one bathroom we plan the sequence to keep a working toilet available for as much of the job as possible. The work area is protected, dust is contained, and we clear up every day.
